Albert Roger - Founder and CEO
Albert has more than 2 decades of experience and outstanding results in European Retail across the Technology, Cosmetics and Supply Chain sectors. He is multi-lingual with a sales and marketing background and an impressive track record of achievement and operational experience gained internationally at Board level. He has vast experience in building successful brands and has been instrumental in the development and introduction (Distribution and marketing) of brands such as: Deliplus; the number 1 makeup brand in Spain and biggest private Label brand in Europe, Beauty Success; the best selling brand in the group in France, BE; by far the biggest selling makeup brand at ICI Paris (AS Watson), Lola Makeup; number one brand at Perse and now retailing in Marks & Spencer, Kicks, Nocibe, Belle, RARE Nails, Perfekt Beauty, All Intense.
He has also won contracts for Sephora Own labels. Now Albert works with brands across Europe using his vast experience and strong connections and contacts in the retail world.
Guillaume Bakouch - Director AR France
Guillaume Bakouch held directorship positions in Business Development and Operations in New York and Paris for beauty brands. The depth and breadth of Guillaume’s experience spans both the globe and the supply chain, serving clients ranging from ingredient suppliers to retail brands, throughout Western and Eastern Europe, the Americas, Asia and Africa. He is now committed to bringing Albert Roger innovative brands to the French market. He is a graduate of the HEC Paris Business School.
Hans Elsässer - Managing Director, Central Europe
Hans brings to Albert Roger a wealth of experience in Eastern and Western European beauty retail, he speaks 5 languages and has an in-depth knowledge of the workings of brick and mortar stores across many different geographical regions and cultures within Europe.
Hans started his career with Douglas, Europe’s biggest high end beauty retailer, holding senior positions in Germany, Austria, Hungary, France and finally Spain and Portugal where he built a successful retail network with more than 120 stores. He then started his own consulting services for beauty brands and retailers introducing new beauty brands and start-ups into Spanish and German beauty markets until the selective beauty retailer Júlia contracted him as General Manager for Spain and Andorra in August 2018.
Stuart Culverwell – Group Operations Director
Stuart has over 20 years experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management having held a variety of management positions in the sector. He has worked for global 3PLs, 4PLs and End Customers. He has a wealth of international experience including several years living and working in Asia Pacific where he was responsible for managing and developing multiple regional and global accounts, as well as managing multi-cultural teams.
Emily Cauchie - Trade Marketing and Product Development Manager, Europe
Emily joins us in the Marketing team with a wealth of experience across the hair & beauty sector within the consumer goods industry. Her previous experience spans the marketing sector with category management, consumer insight, range planning and new product at the core. Ensuring she is up always to date with the latest market trends, and with a project management, commercial and innovative approach Emily is committed to bringing the latest products to market across the Albert Roger portfolio.
Victoria Blair - Communications Manager, Europe
Victoria has a wealth of experience in Public Relations and Event Management in retail at management level in Europe, having spent over a decade living and working there. Victoria works with our international Marketing Teams to develop and execute a tailored communications strategy for each of the brands in our portfolio.
Javier Santana - Business Development Manager
Javier is a skilled sales person with exceptional inter-personal skills and an impressive number of high level contacts across the Spanish retail sector, along with Albert, Javier can bring a potential new brand in front of key decision makers within weeks.
Javier has managed key accounts in Spain such as El Corte Ingles, Eroski, Persé and Euromadi being key in the design, development and production of their own brand makeup that was launched with resounding success and impressive sales. Javier went on to co-launch CREA cosmetics a full service beauty company before joining Albert Roger in 2019 as Head of Sales.
James Jardella – Sales Director UK and Ireland
James’ in-depth knowledge of the retail landscape, category approach and keen consumer focus will ensure Albert Roger Ltd is well positioned to grow its beauty business within the UK.
He has held various commercial, business development and category management roles across the consumer goods industry. Well-versed in beauty, at L´Oréal U.K. & Ireland James delivered best in market launches for a number of household brands in collaboration with some of the UK’s best known retailers. At an international level, he has since re-launched the Californian natural skincare brand Yes To into multiple European markets, selling within both ‘bricks & mortar’ and e-commerce channels.
Emma Gerrard – Purchasing Manager
Emma is the main point of daily contact for our our brands. . Having worked with Albert from the launch of AR Ltd., she knows exactly what we look for in any potential new signing to our portfolio and will manage the whole process from presenting to the team, requesting samples, to any certification and European labelling requirements and ordering stock and displays for retail clients.
Virginia Bohorquez - Social Media Manager
A successful beauty blogger herself, Virginia has worked in the sector for over 10 years. Her obsession with makeup, detailed knowledge of all digital platforms and her little black book of influencer contacts make her ideally placed to help plan and execute each brand’s specific social strategy in the country where it is launched. She also works with our customers’ digital teams to make sure our brands get the visibility they deserve across their platforms.
